Yes — your public portfolio at folioowl.com/p/yourusername is fully visible to anyone with the link. No account or login required. If you've enabled password protection (Pro feature), they'll need the password you share with them.

Your portfolio goes offline at the end of your billing period. Your data is kept securely for 90 days. If you resubscribe within 90 days, everything is restored instantly — your items, settings, and public link. After 90 days, all data is permanently deleted and cannot be recovered.

Your URL is based on your username (folioowl.com/p/yourusername) and is set when you register. Choose your username carefully — it becomes your permanent professional link.

You can upload JPG, PNG, GIF, WEBP, and PDF files up to 5MB each. Images display directly in your portfolio card. PDFs show as a "View PDF Document" link that opens in a new tab.

Click "Forgot password?" on the sign-in page. Enter your email address and we'll send you a reset link. The link expires in 1 hour. If you don't receive it, check your spam folder or contact us at [email protected].

Yes. FolioOwl uses HTTPS encryption, secure password hashing, and CSRF protection. We never sell your data. We recommend not including sensitive personal information like your home address or date of birth — your public link is visible to anyone you share it with.

When a recruiter clicks it they see a professional, organized portfolio with everything in one place — always up to date and far more impressive than attaching individual PDF certificates. Note that some application systems only accept file uploads rather than links — in those cases, mention your FolioOwl URL in your cover letter instead.

No — never. Your data is yours. FolioOwl does not use, share, or sell your portfolio content, certifications, work samples, or any personal information to train AI models or for any other purpose beyond running your portfolio. Your data is stored securely and used only to display your portfolio to the people you choose to share it with.

Yes. All data is encrypted in transit via HTTPS. Your portfolio is only visible to people you share your link with. You can also add a password to your portfolio (Pro feature) so only people with the password can view it. We never sell your data to third parties. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time by contacting [email protected].
